Spring conditions!

Spring conditions!

This French village in synonymous with skiing and you can see why. Apart from the majestic outlook of Mount Blanc, the village has all the European apres ski atmosphere that you'd expect. Sure it's a little touristy but that's sort of to be expected.

We snowboarded here in spring but the conditions were still pretty good with a little fresh snow on a few days. Taking the Aiguille du Midi cable car opens some pretty challenging terrain for a relative beginner but luckily the day I chose the conditions were quite forgiving.

There's plenty of terrain to explore and I found it suited all levels quite well (the other guys I was holidaying with were just starting out and they thought the mountain was pretty good too).

I loved my week here and doing a cheese fondue after a big day of riding was definitely a highlight!
