Imagine an adrenaline filled outdoor adventure where it’s about the journey just as much as the destination. Canyoning is a way of exploring canyons from top to bottom using a variety of techniques which may include hiking, scrambling, climbing, abseiling, jumping and swimming.

We did our first indoor adventure activity the other day at Escape Quest Queenstown and came away wanting more.

In a first for the New Zealand ski industry, Porters Ski Area launched its ‘all-inclusive’ Premium Season Pass for the 2017 snow season today (Thursday, 20 April 2017).

In the short amount of time that we have lived here, there are four things that stick out in my mind as being unique to Queenstown.

Developments for the 2017 winter season at Cardrona have totalled over $15million, with continued investment in the resort’s facilities and infrastructure. The investment includes a new high speed cabin lift, Base facility development, and improvements in terrain, car parking and snowmaking.

Ever since we became snowboard addicts, we've pretty much gone on snowboarding holidays twice a year - chasing the winter from the north to the south and back again. But we'll be missing out this year.

Our wedding day in New Zealand included flying by helicopter to The Remarkables, then flying to Coronet Peak and snowboarding down the mountain! So seeing as it is our wedding anniversary today, I thought I would post up some pics and share that oh so fun and special day with you.
