We're excited that you're interested in downloading our super simple budget spreadsheet template. Whether you are a seasoned budget tracker or just starting out, it's always good to look for better ways of doing things. It's not fancy but that's because fancy doesn't necessarily mean better. We've tried a bunch of ways including apps, exporting data and formulas and have found the good old Excel spreadsheet to be the easiest to maintain and most effective way of keeping us accountable.
In case you haven't read our article on why having a budget is essential or you need a refresher, click on the link below. We recommend that you read this first.
If you're ready to check out our budget tracker spreadsheet then click on the link below to download. The first tab in the Excel spreadsheet is a guide on how to use and fill out the budget spreadsheet. The second tab is the spreadsheet itself. We're assuming that you have a basic understanding of Excel, but if you don't then do an internet search on 'excel basics' or 'excel tutorial', and a bunch of websites will come up to teach you the basics.
We'd love to hear from you on how you are tracking and please email me if you have any questions or would like any advice.
Now get those receipts together and start tracking!
